Digg

The news industry is moving into some radical new territory. This site (http://www.digg.com) takes things to another level. Digg.com is a technology website that is helping transform the way people consume news online and has just released a new version designed to widen its appeal. I read a newspaper every morning; I enjoy reading the columnists and the editorial, I love absorbing the news available these days. Now though, 20 minutes later I can visit Digg.com and read what hundreds of other people believe to be the most interesting stories around the world in real time. Worth a visit !

Wikipedia Encyclopedia

Wikipedia

Wikipedia

This website http://www.wikipedia.org/ is quite simply one of the greatest resources to all who remember the ‘big old’ encyclopedia Britannica. That is it… an online encyclopedia… but what a site… millions and millions of articles on nearly everything, and it is constantly growing… and best of all it does not take up a bookcase of space !
Note: Since early 2006, I also have had great pleasure in being involved with editing / adding content.

Luxury / Cool Products Online…

World Lux

World Lux

This is one of my favourite shops on the web. Service is awesome ! Products are great ! and Prices are some of the most competitive I have ever come across.

Considering they are based in the US, I was expecting an prolonged delivery process, but their delivery to the UK was really prompt and fast - quicker than some deliveries from within the UK.

I have made 3 orders from http://www.worldlux.com and each one has been a great pleasure !!! Total recommendation !!!

Just a quick note to wish Oakham Cricket Club all the best for their forthcoming season… what’s my interest at OCC… well I designed and developed an affordable and easy to use content managment system for cricket clubs. Project II in this field is to offer a blogging facility (similar to this) and based on the website template developed for them… visit it at www.oakhamcricketclub.co.uk

CNET.co.uk - Technology Review Site

CNET

CNET

CNET.co.uk is a great technology review site. It has been around since around 2000 and should be one of those places you visit before purchasing any electrical / technical equipment - digital cameras, tvs, dvds, games consoles, mp3s, mobiles.

For some time now I have been using CNET.com, but they have now brought us a site with a UK flavour !!!

And for those that can’t wait for the latest technology to be available in stores etc the Crave section of the site is ahead of the game for preview and reviews of what is available and coming soon.
