Tag Cloud

Tag Cloud

In general a tag or word cloud is a visual representation of user-generated tags. They provide visitors to the website with an additional path to navigate the website, and search engines an additional route to use when indexing pages.

Tags are usually single words and are typically listed alphabetically with the importance of a tag shown through font size or colour. Site visitors can use this additional navigation to find tagged pages alphabetically and by tag popularity.

Digg

The news industry is moving into some radical new territory. This site (http://www.digg.com) takes things to another level. Digg.com is a technology website that is helping transform the way people consume news online and has just released a new version designed to widen its appeal. I read a newspaper every morning; I enjoy reading the columnists and the editorial, I love absorbing the news available these days. Now though, 20 minutes later I can visit Digg.com and read what hundreds of other people believe to be the most interesting stories around the world in real time. Worth a visit !
