Browser Market Share (2009)

2009 saw a flurry of new browsers and updated browsers, and became the year of the 2nd ‘Browser Wars’. The market leader is still Microsoft, but they have done little to stop the falling market share. Google’s entry into the marketsaw them shoot past other established brands such as Opera, and gain an impressive 5% of the market by the end of the year (although this may be starting to happen at the expense of Firefox’s growth).
