H.M. Armed Forces – Toy of 2009 ?

hm armed forces toysHM Armed Forces toys – ah these toys bring back great memories !!! Memories for me and loads of good old fashioned fun for my young son. He loves them. So far we have the HM Armed Forces Fast Jet Pilot, an HM Armed Forces Commando and of course a classic HM Armed Forces Infantryman.

If you remember Action Man and all the fun that could be had from the range (before the surreal figures of Action Man Snowboard Extreme, Action Man Surf Attack, Action Man Dr X, Action Man Antifreeze, Action Man Polar Trapper  etc) then get ready for the new HM Armed Forces toys – without the  un-necessary distractions of a surf board that Action Man descended into.

I guess the team behind Action Man just ran out of ideas because I can’t recal any major conflicts or peace keeping missions in which a squad needed to take in some waves and surf in to the beach.

Fortunately the new range of HM Armed Forces toys from Character has plenty of ideas to date, and they keep releasing figures and vehicles to keep the range really exciting… making my Son’s Christmas list very easy (yes I know it is 6 months away – but my boy likes to plan)… first on the list is the HM Armed Forces Royal Marine Desert Raiding Set, or as he calls it the Army Quadbike, second (and what boy wouldn’t want this) the HM Armed Forces Tank and just to finish the set the HM Armed Forces Jet.

And what father can resist – memories of the fun I had when I was a kid, and watching him play with the toys he has so far… H.M. Armed Forces toys are my hit of 2009. If you are looking to buy HM Armed Forces toys… they are all available from the Character website.
