Mock U Rappers Review
Posted on 21. Sep, 2007 by Andrew Watson in Toys & Games
Following the worst summer I can ever remember in the UK, and with the movement into shorter days, I have started thinking about Christmas gifts for my kid. Being 4 years old, and totally doted on by his parents, grandparents and friends, he tends to receive a steady flow of toys and presents throughout the year… he even jokes about with commments like ‘for my 3rd birthday this year I would like…”… fortuantely he appears to understands reason :)
Often though I find myself thinking ‘ah I am sure [my son] would really like one of those’… or ‘that looks cool / fun’… sometimes it is just the big kid in me coming out… but I have hit one of those moments again – and found something that looks really cool… although this time christmas is the ideal time to get it for my son…
I was looking back over some past posts… and revisited the Tomy Toys and Games website… where I came across a toy that Tomy describe in their own right as ‘Mock U Rappers is a one of a kind gift for someone who has everything!’… what is it… well it looks like a toy that allows you to record your own message and listen as the Rappers manipulate it and rap it back to you in a cheeky, mocking way.
All the reviews I have seen to date seem to suggest that when presented to children (although as they are suitable for young and old – the grandparents could well find one in their stocking too)… the Mock U Rappers toy has people in fits of laughter… I am chuckling just thinking about it… which now presents me with a further dilema… can I really wait till Christmas ?

Looking at the new Tomy recent new line ups (Nintendogs and Mock U Rappers) show that they are still are innovating and releasing new fun toys – I’ve even seen rumours of a mini robot that looks awesome. I also have a 4 year old son, a wii,a ds and hundreds of Tomy toys… which seems to have the most staying power at the moment – still Tomy’s Thomas Road and Rail set !!!
