Tomy Toys improves site navigation…

Having a young kid, one of the guiding lights in toy world is the world of Tomy toys. We seem to have gone through most of the product ranges – from the nursery products of Walkbout Baby Monitors through to the toy ranges of Aquadraw, Megasketcher, Teletubbies and Thomas and Friends.Tomy products are without a doubt some of the best I have ever seen / used – both as a child and a father. The Thomas Motor Road and Rail sets remind me of my childhood and a large Hornby set that I built with my father – although I had to wait until I was somewhat older than 4 years old.
The best bit is that there is no level to the complexity in which you can develop your own Thomas Tank Island of Sodor – although I am sure that the track layouts created with my son through having bought numerous large sets and then joined them together, are bigger than the Sodor tracks. Having been utterly twisted around the little finger of my adorable boy, we (he) often runs a huge railway with 6 different trains running in multiple directions… so much fun… really all fathers need to take a look at Thomas Motor Road and Rail sets if you haven’t yet…
Anyway back to the point of this article. Being an Information Architect, I found the previous incarnation of the site a little difficult to navigate around… but I am glad to see that the site has undergone a redevelopment… not only can I find everything I am looking (and more – I have found the link to just buy more Thomas Motor Road & Rail track), but the e-commerce functionality is so easy to use – can’t wait to see my little boys smile as the track circles his little frame a few more times…
