Search Engine Optimisation #Part 1

Posted on 31. Jan, 2006 by Andrew Watson in SEO & Search Engines

Over the years I have found that many colleagues and acquaintances, have often heard of the phrase ‘search engine optimisation’ or the acronym ’SEO’, but often have very little understanding of either.

This is where I hope my blog will come into its own, allowing me to  to explain what I have learnt over the years in terms of SEO, list some of the do’s and don’t, and try to demystify some of the nonsense spoken about when looking at SEO.

Part 1: Define your goals

What are your goals? Are they to see more, get your products / services in front of more people / help people to find your products / services?
